What is Malay Architecture?
Base on 3 characteristic :
- Non Permanent - only sustain for few generation
- Prefabricated homes - IBS system (construction system in which components are manufactured in a factory, on or off site, positioned and assembled into structure with minimal additional site work)
- Material (timber) - light and easy to transfer
Malay Architecture is not base on the form or facade similar to Malay architecture but it can be define at the structural and characteristic of Malay Architecture.
In the conclusion, we can define Malay Architectural clearly when we understand the 3 simple characteristic of Malay Architecture.
