Housing for poor or affordable housing always is the topic to be discuss or debate among the society,but will it be solve  or not? some say it never be solve ,if the housing problem solved then what they going to research or improve? Therefore, the housing problem never will be solve by the architect or organization that in charge of it. The problem will be continuous and never end......

Malay Architecture

What is Malay Architecture?
Base on 3 characteristic :

• Non Permanent - only sustain for few generation
• Prefabricated homes - IBS system (construction system in which components are manufactured in a factory, on or off site, positioned and assembled into structure with minimal additional site work)
• Material (timber) -  light and easy to transfer

 


Malay Architecture is not base on the form or facade similar to Malay architecture but it can be define at the structural and characteristic of Malay Architecture.

In the conclusion, we can define Malay Architectural clearly when we understand the 3  simple characteristic of Malay Architecture.
